We are a group of 16 people who came together, in Trinity College Dublin, to write.
We came from different places and cultural backgrounds including Ireland, the USA, Canada, the UK, the Netherlands, and Asia. We are all diverse and have our own stories to tell.
We write anything and everything; poetry, prose, drama, screenplays, romances, thrillers, literary fiction, fantasy, science-fiction and more.
We write because we need to. Each of us has the drive, the need to write.
Out of this drive comes a collection of stories and poetry which we’ve titled A Thoroughly Good Blue. The title comes from an essay by Oscar Wilde, “The Truth of Masks” in which he talks about the difficulty of finding a thoroughly good blue when dying fabrics. This is a metaphor for the care, attention and passion which goes into everything we write.
The collection will be launched on May 17th.
